Christmas afternnon, we wanted to let the girls shoot their guns, so we loaded into the suburban, yes, we now have a "new" older big red growling machine that is completely paid for!! We purchased it the first part of November. It seats 9 and has 4-wheel drive (a must with Tanner & scouting), and all the girls fit comportably. The only problem is it didn't come with a dvd player. But Santa helped us out there with the mp3 video players!! Anyways, we get to a secluded area and start shooting, reminding everybody of the common sense of gun safety only to have some idiots start shooting towards us. Far enough away to not be hitting us, but way too close for comfort!! We could see them therefore they are idiots for shooting towards our non camafloged RED suburban & little kids. So we packed up quickly, leaving our targets behind, they weren't worth getting shot at for and drove away. There were too many winter visitors out joy riding with their guns and such that we decided that shooting was better saved for another day and we just drove. Okay, we didn't drive. Krista did. And she did very well and is very anxious to drive again. I'm very anxious about her driving again,too. Only in a different way!
