Okay, I am almost 39 weeks pregnant and VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!!! I have an odd shaped uterus and so my biggest baby weighed in at 6 lbs. even, at 40 weeks, and still had to be induced. I’ve never gone into labor on my own, let alone been close to it! My smallest was 4 lbs. 13 oz. at 36.5 weeks. And all 4 were girls. THIS one is a boy. I've had indigestion and nausea the entire time, my legs and feet have AT LEAST doubled in size. I have a knot on the inside of my left leg just below and above the knee, so it hurts to bend it even enough to walk, and this baby measured on Tuesday between 6.5-7lbs. It hurts when he moves, and then I have to run for the bathroom because his moving makes me sick. He’s super low and we’re just waiting. I am told that this is a NORMAL pregnancy. As much as I love babies and my girls, this sucks!!! Who in their right mind chooses to do this? The girls were great pregnancies compared to this! A bit of bed-rest to hopefully encourage the baby to grow more, morning sickness that went away, indigestion that came towards the end and then a given date and time when to report to the hospital. I like that MUCH BETTER!!!! Who knew it would take 5 full-term pregnancies to be NORMAL!!! Anyways, I’m off to hobble around to do some housework while my 4 yr. old and 2 yr. old are watching cartoons and not laughing or helping me bend over to clean! I hope you have a GREAT day and that this baby comes soon!!!!

The end was the hardest for me! Are they going to induce you this time too?

I'm sorry! Now you know how it feels to go 41 weeks and THEN be put on a "waiting list" to be induced and it takes another 4 days until they get you in. But hopefully you won't have 26 hours of labor (two of which were just the pushing with the nurse and then another hour of Dr. Beck cutting/vacuuming/cutting/vacuuming and then darn thing weighs almost 8 pounds, has a broken collar bone and a chunk of skin missing off the top of her head from the vacuuming. Morgan was quite the trial. Never again. No more birthing for me!!!!! Yea!

Good luck, hope he gets here soon and isn't a fatty. (those were jake's words)

Hang in there trooper! Remember how beautiful that moment will be when you finally get to meet him face to face! That's always kept me going. It's soooo worth it - I know you'll agree! I'm sorry you're so miserable. What a gal - to do this all in the name of love and following our Father's commandments. You'll be so blessed. Love ya!
