I went in for x-rays on my collarbone, again, on January 6th. They found significant bone growth! Three weeks ago they could barely see any growth with a ct-scan. To say the Dr. was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. He and his colleagues had never seen a break and lack of growth quite like mine. Don’t get me wrong, they’ve seen MANY situations, but this one was a bit off for them and Dr. told me that for some reason he felt that surgery, although it was the obvious solution, didn’t FEEL right. So, many thanks and praise to our Father in Heaven for hearing the prayers and strengthening the testimonies of those who participated in a fast in my behalf. I am now free to not feel guilty for doing laundry, picking up Cameron, doing dishes, doing my hair, and so on. We are very blessed! Now, as long as I don’t do anything to cause more damage to my collarbone, surgery is no longer in the picture. At all.

well, it's been 6 weeks and various x-rays are still showing no healing in the breaks of my collarbone. I go in on Dec. 2nd for more x-rays, if it's still not healing they will send me for a cat scan and schedule surgery from there. There is a VERY SLIGHT posibility that the broken bone has died from the force trama. In the mean time I'm having my upper arm bandaged to my body to prevent it from moving and my arm/wrist in a sling. very NOT comfortable. this is a crazy time of year, let alone a crazy injury that I'm trying to recover from. extra prayers wouldn't hurt....
