T.V.Potterf

Well, we survived this last week and went out with a party! Brianna's baptism was so amazing!! Her Grandpa Hardwick started us off with a prayer and her Papa Potterf gave a fabulous talk on baptism speaking directly to Brianna and Jacob, a boy in her class that was baptized on Saturday also. We then heard the testimony of our cousin Sheri Thomas from Safford. She was baptize on the 6th of June and Brianna just had to hear her testimony!! She did wonderfully! You'd never know that she'd never spoken in front of a crowd like that before, and on such a personal topic for her. Thank you Sheri for sharing your beautiful feelings of the gospel with us! Then Brianna had her Daddy baptize her and Jacob was baptized by his older brother Travis, who just turned 16. What a special day for them both!! We then returned to the chapel for Jacob's mom to talk to us about the Holy Ghost. I even learned a few things! It was amazing the spirit tat was there with us! Then Brianna was given the gift of the Holy Ghost by her daddy and Jacob by his. Oh to have that strong of a spirit with us always! We then adjourned to our ward building where we served LOTS of homemade past and garlic bread and cookies/cupcakes and ice cream for dessert. We had a fabulous turn out! We invited Jacob and his family to join us and that made it even better! We had peanty of food to go around and hardly any leftovers! The only thing that would have made the day more perfect would be if I had made arrangements for somebody else to rotate the food when it needed so Tanner and I could visit MORE! All things considered, it was perfect!! Especially since I'd been in bed most of the week with strep throat! What timing!! But it all ended perfectly! Many thanks to those who traveled to be there with us for this special day for Brianna.
