My Grandma Merrill petitioned me several months ago to embroider the dedication date of the Gila Valley Temple on some hankies for her to give out as gifts. My fabulously inspired husband decided he wanted to digitize a picture of the Gila Valley Temple for me to also embroider onto the hankies. Well, this is how they turned out! Very simple, just as Grandma wanted. Although on some of the ones I made for her I played around and sewed some flowers and other designs around the edges to dress them up a bit for her. Anyways, I had lots of fun doing up many of these hankies for her as well as for some others as gifts. I also had some fun and embroidered it onto a packet bag for both my mom and my grandma. They were thrilled and I am very grateful to Tanner for taking the time to digitize the temple for me. It was no simple 5 minute task!!! We look forward to the dedication on the 23rd, and using our new hankies that will always serve as a reminder of this special occasion!
