My it's been busy around here! 4 cases of strep throat, 4 separate visits to the Dr. office 70 minutes each direction, and 1 case of a very bad cold, so 5 separate co-pays! But 4 Penicillin shots and a tank of gas later, we are all healthy again!!! Thursday is the girls' last day of school and boy are they excited!! They've been taking a paper with them to school the last month or so to collect all their friends’ names and numbers so they can keep up with them over the summer and have play dates, and mostly they are looking forward to LOTS OF WATER time in the back yard! We love our back yard! Thanks Tanner for making it such a wonderful place for us to spend time together as a family in!!! Tanner, Krista, and Brianna took a trip this last weekend to go to Black River. Tanner's Dad and brothers do this every year and this year they didn't get rained out! They go up to the camp area and then they hike in with their packs of food and resources to stay there for a couple of days and they sleep by the river just to wake up and go fishing all day sleep by the river again and fish some more!! Krista and Brianna LOVED this!! They also out fished EVERYBODY!!! Krista really put to work her new fishing pole from Papa and Brianna showed off that even the newest one to the group can fish better than the oldest group member!! Brianna luckily had her Penicillin shot two days before they left. Amanda got her shot the day they did leave, Cameron was miserable with his yucky cold while they were gone, and Deandra started her fever the day they were due back and the Dr. was closed! It was a very LONG weekend for me!! Krista just decided that she didn't want to be left out so she waited until Monday morning to get sick. Her shot left the biggest bruise, but she was able to go to school today!!! I don't like having sick kids at home!! Deandra is off to preschool right now and Cameron is sleeping and Amanda is supervising my blogging, so that is why I get to update finally!! What else is going on? Deandra starts Kindergarten this year and is super excited! Brianna is praying that she'll get Mrs. James for her 2nd grade teacher, and I had one teacher tell me she's praying to have Krista in her 4th grade class! Tanner is trudging along at work, he's looking for another position now, so if you know of any let us know so he can apply!! Okay, I think I’m done babbling for now. I’ll get some pictures up in the next day or so after I go through the camera without Amanda’s help…so until then!
