So, I keep getting phone calls telling me to update my blog....Well, where's the fun in updating when you get to actually TALK to people?? But I'm updating anyways! Things here are crazy as usual! I still don't like cleaning house, but I do love holding the baby and watching cartoons all day with my five and two year olds. Then we go get Krista and Brianna and Frank (a friend of ours we drive home every day from school, he's just AWESOME!!) then we fix dinner and I do some cleaning and then it's bedtime! No, it doesn't go that smoothly, usually the two and five year olds are playing in the mud, sand, water, or anything they can get their little hands onto! Then homework with Krista & Brianna is a whole new game, I swear if we just add the boxing gloves, we'd have ourselves quite the boxing match over who gets to use the good pencil, the eraser, watching tv while doing homework, when we're going to eat again, why can't they have chocolate milk at the table while doing homework, getting Amanda off the table while they do their homework, and so on. It's quite amusing for an outsider (yes, you, Ashley) to watch, but not so amusing for us parents! Then it's another round simular to that for prayer and scripture time, and again at getting into their beds, and then at staying in their beds, and then it picks up again the next morning with who woke who up first! So, we love our children and anybody who has some advice is welcome to post! We have the routine down well, and the girls seem to have theirs down well, too! How about we enjoy some pictures of the monkeys now? Oh, wait! These are pictures of some of our Scumming pals relieving our stress!! We get together with friends after the girls are in bed on the weekend and play games like "Scum" and "Killer Bunnies" and "Spinners" and "Settlers of Catan." Let me tell you, we can get pretty competitive in these games and it really helps relieve the stress AND get the house cleaned up! Since we prefer to have our friends see us in a more cleanly state than what we normally are, we clean like crazy just before they all come over! So the house does get cleaned sometimes!
